Heritage and Development in the Arab World
In this course, students learn about cultural heritage in the Arab World, the impact of conflict on cultural heritage, and the role of institutions in protecting cultural heritage. Interested undergraduate students enrolled in ARST 4478 may enroll in an additional 1 credit lab component that gives them the opportunity to travel to Egypt during spring break to visit a variety of cultural heritage sites.
